Резюме:

This article explores how digital transformation is shaping Kazakhstan´s stock market. It focuses on how digital tools, such as online brokers and trading platforms, influence the transparency and efficiency of stock trading. Using data from major firms listed on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange between 2019 and 2023, the study examines whether digital access improves the ability of stock prices to reflect company performance and whether it encourages greater trading activity. The findings indicate that online access often helps investors make more informed decisions, although the results differ between companies. The article suggests that digitalization offers clear benefits for market development but also emphasizes the need for broader support to make those benefits more consistent.
