Advantages and challenges of various methods of teaching Business English to university students

Резюме:

This paper examines some of the most effective approaches to teaching Business English to university students. Its main purpose is to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the Direct Method, Communicative Language Teaching, and the Inquiry-Based Learning approach. Particular attention is paid to the suitability of each approach for students studying Business English and the extent to which these methods contribute to the development of language proficiency and professional communication skills. It is concluded that combining different teaching approaches may be the most effective way to achieve the desired learning outcomes in Business English instruction.
